ErgVideo comes packaged with installation instructions. Upon installation, a user manual .pdf and a Help file are available. Each disk also comes with an instructional video, to help configure your CompuTrainer software and ErgVideo. It steps you through every click!
Before calling, please be sure you have examined the resources on the Support Pages. We now have extensive video-based instructions available.
Be certain that your CompuTrainer software is installed and working properly without ErgVideo. Any problems with your CompuTrainer software should be reported to RacerMate Inc., and questions directed to them. Once that works, THEN start ErgVideo. ErgVideo can't fix a fundamentally broken or mal-configured Multirider or Coaching Software installation.
For ErgVideo 2.0, it is IMPERATIVE that you install the correct USB-serial port drivers if you are using the Sewell units sold by RacerMate, or any other such device which uses drivers by Prolific. Even if you have never seen trouble before, you must make the change. ErgVideo 2 new functionality exposes the flaw in the Prolific driver. You will thank us, since ALL of your RacerMate software will work better and it will be stunningly stable and robust. If you use direct 9-pin serial port or an FTDI-based USB-Serial adapter (such as available here), you will not encounter driver related problems.
